the Buddha Nature in essence is being able to see through the third eye. In my experience, the Buddha Nature is that from within that is able to recognize that little piece of god in me with that little piece of god in everything. Through the six senses of course. Eyes, ears, mouth, mind, body and nose. With the human eye you see partially. Nothing is correct until you see everything third eye. "If the intent is there and the heart is open, the manifestation will come."

Buddha nature is what you think it is before you begin to try to define it.

Umm, it is an all pervasive compassion, an innate kindness and generosity towards all that exists. It is a sense of peace, of rightness, that extends beyond words through the heart and mind which includes everything. The gateway to all creative expression..It is the thing that sets us completely free.

buddha nature is like a translucent light that is congnizant and kind it is very powerful with the ability to pacify the mind of harmful emotions in a matter of minutes the love it creates in the body can be overwhelming it expresses itself using the 4 brahma viharas, when you stop looking for it you will find it, we are all buddha nature.

ok. so i haven't read what anyone else said. this is straight off the top of my head.

buddha nature. the closest i have ever come, is for five or six seconds, when i'm staring at the wall at the zendo, when all of my thoughts stop. the pond without any ripples or waves. usually some kid decides to do a cannonball off of the bridge sooner or later, which reminds me i'm still human. so i guess its just being calm and peaceful. no cannonballs.
